Chiswell Fireplaces Ltd offer a complete one stop shop for fireplaces, including supply and fitting of gas fires, electric fires and real fires. We offer our own exclusive fireplace designs, plus fires and fireplaces from leading manufactures. 

You will see, in our showroom near St Albans, Hertfordshire; Gallery fireplaces, Emsworth fireplaces, Parkers fireplaces, New Image (Newman fireplaces), Brilliant and many more. Our showroom features 12 Magiglo gas fires, Gazco fires and Multiglow fires all burning live to compare, making us the leading gas shop in the area.  We also supply Legend gas fires, Valor, Wonderfire, Jetmaster and many others. 

Choose a fireplace in stone, marble, cast iron or in other materials of your choice.  We sell some gas fires that require a traditional chimney, but also gas fires for use in class 2 flues, both precast and 5" (125mm) diameter metal flue systems.

Flueless gas fires are available, using a catalytic converter to make the fumes safe to breath, as are gel fires, but we prefer either balanced flue gas fires or fan powered gas fires where the fumes are expelled though a hole in an outside wall, so keeping the air fresh and safe to breath.  Examples of these flue types can be demonstrated in our large showroom at Watford Road, Chiswell Green, close to St Albans and the M25 or M1 motorways. 

If gas is not an option, we have a large display of electric fires from Dimplex, Creative, Flamerite, Capital, Gallery, Broseley and other quality electric fire manufacturers. Our electric range runs from ultra modern to traditional and even includes real cast iron stoves with realistic flame effect and 2 kilowatt heat output. Choose a fireplace or fire in stone effect, black glass, stainless steel, brass and a host of other materials.

Our real fires burn logs and coal in fireplaces complying with latest building regulations. We are Hetas registered solid fuel engineers. We sell Jetmaster convector fires for improved efficiency when burning real fuel, plus dog baskets and standard grates for decorative use.  Chiswell Fireplaces is based in Hertfordshire and covers areas within 1 hour's drive, including Middlesex, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and outer parts of North London. 

Our own modern fireplaces have been a huge hit with customers, offering innovative designs for contemporary living, but we still also have a big range of traditional Edwardian, Victorian, Regency, Art Deco, Arts and Crafts and similar fireplaces on display too.  Our best sellers include hole in wall fireplaces, limestone fireplaces and marble designs, but we can also supply other materials like sandstone, oak, tile and cast iron within fireplaces of your choice.
